About the Role

The supervisor will coordinate construction activities, ensure compliance with design documents, and oversee field inspections. They will manage key project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders while providing technical guidance to resolve complex issues. Additional duties include schedule tracking, safety monitoring, quality assurance, constructability reviews, and mentorship of junior staff. • Coordinate and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design, specifications, and contracts. • Conduct field inspections and verify work conforms to approved plans and standards. • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders. • Provide technical guidance to resolve complex construction and coordination issues. • Serve as on‑site liaison among contractors, clients, and design teams for clear communication. • Track project schedules, identify critical path delays, and recommend mitigation measures. • Monitor and enforce site‑specific safety plans and procedures. • Support QA/QC through documentation review, inspection coordination, and corrective actions. • Perform constructability reviews and contribute to pre‑construction planning. • Lead weekly progress, safety, and client coordination meetings. • Document field conditions, activities, and inspection results in project logs. • Validate contractor progress payments based on field verification of quantities. • Assist in resolving claims, disputes, and non‑conformance issues with field insight. • Oversee punch list development, resolution, and project closeout deliverables. • Collaborate with project controls to align field data with cost and schedule performance. • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirements. • Assist in workforce planning, resource coordination, and work sequencing. • Mentor junior staff and share best practices and lessons learned. • Contribute technical expertise to business development proposals and pursuits. • Utilize construction management software for coordination, reporting, and digital documentation.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent experience, 5‑7 years in construction management, and at least three years in utility or power generation projects. Required skills include interpreting contracts, managing RFIs, scheduling, safety compliance, and using construction software such as Procore or Bluebeam. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, OSHA 30 certification, CCM credential, and experience with Primavera P6. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (or equivalent experience). • Possess 5–7 years of construction management experience, including 3+ years in utility/power generation projects. • Demonstrate expertise in construction sequencing, delivery methods, and field execution. • Ability to interpret contracts, design drawings, and technical specifications. • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders. • Strong knowledge of scheduling, critical path analysis, and progress evaluation. • Proven track record of enforcing safety requirements and coordinating with safety personnel. • Familiarity with federal, state, and local permitting and environmental regulations. • Skilled in quality assurance/control processes, field testing, and inspections. • Proficient in preparing progress reports, daily logs, and field documentation. • Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills. • Working knowledge of construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) and earned value concepts. • Ability to lead constructability reviews and pre‑construction risk identification. • Capability to manage multiple field tasks, contractors, and deadlines simultaneously. • Experience guiding junior construction staff and fostering collaborative relationships. • Willingness to work both on‑site and in the office to support delivery. • Preferred: master’s degree, OSHA 30‑hour certification, CCM credential, Primavera P6 proficiency, and experience on major infrastructure or utility projects.
