About the Role
• Plan, administer, and design small, medium, and large‑scale land development projects covering residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. • Design site grading, utilities, storm drainage facilities, roadways, trails, and related items for civil engineering projects. • Manage design staff as lead engineer on project tasks. • Conduct client and job site visits as needed. • Aid in proposal preparation, detailing scope of services and overall budgets. • Establish and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and meet objectives. • Handle marketing, write proposals, win work, and develop key client relationships. • Participate in client‑rich professional organizations and functions. • Train and mentor young professionals.

What You Bring
A candidate should have an educational background in general civil engineering design and will work on a variety of development-related projects across Idaho and the Pacific NW, including site development design for residential subdivisions, multi‑family, commercial, industrial development sites, and educational facilities. • Demonstrate excellent communication skills. • BS in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required. • Idaho Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or current PE with ability to obtain Idaho PE within 6 months; licenses in neighboring states a plus. • Residency in the Treasure Valley area. • 3–5 years experience in residential land development, including roadway, earthworks, water, sewer, stormwater, and technical report writing; multi‑disciplined civil experience a plus. • Minimum 2 years experience managing tasks, projects, and professional staff. • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D (2018 or newer preferred), and Microsoft Office applications; 3D modeling experience a plus. • Proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets. • Strong client relationship development skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to adapt and perform accurately under pressure. • Valid Idaho State Driver’s License and meet company insurability requirements.
