About the Role

The Junior Consultant, Advisory & Consulting reports to the Principal Advisor and works within KBR’s Global Energy Transition Advisory team. The role collaborates closely with the organization’s extensive engineering, technology, and scientific resources to deliver advisory solutions. Key responsibilities include providing input on consulting projects through sophisticated internal models, developing analyses, presentations, and reports, and extracting and analyzing data from databases, websites, and industry interviews. The consultant will also build complex economic models to assess energy assets and simulate global commodity trade flows, conduct predictive analytics to evaluate investment decisions, review projects to identify follow‑up and resale opportunities, and coordinate resources and expertise across worldwide offices to achieve leading‑edge techno‑commercial outcomes. The role supports the Director and other Principals by creating tailored advisory solutions for client needs and contributes to strategic market communications. What You Bring

Candidates must hold a degree in Engineering or Science, with additional Business or Economics qualifications preferred, and have at least three years of energy‑related industry experience, including two years focused on energy transition topics. Experience with advisory consulting firms, strong stakeholder management, a solid understanding of energy transition technical concepts, familiarity with the ESG ecosystem and carbon markets, and demonstrated business acumen and financial literacy are required. Collaborative teamwork skills are essential. • Hold a degree in Engineering/Science with Business/Economics qualifications preferred. • Possess at least three years of energy industry experience, including two years in energy transition topics. • Demonstrate experience in advisory consulting and ability to grow advisory business. • Exhibit strong stakeholder management and delivery of high‑end advisory projects. • Understand energy transition technical concepts and commercial feasibility. • Familiarity with ESG ecosystem, carbon markets, and related regulations. • Show business acumen and financial literacy for evaluating proposals.
