About the Role
Recognized as a Supplier Quality Improvement Engineer (SQIE), the incumbent is responsible for preliminary supplier audits, monitoring supplier quality performance, and initiating and implementing quality improvement actions in line with established policies and procedures. The manager creates, releases and communicates the supplier audit program, coordinates preliminary audit meetings, conducts audits according to plan, evaluates results, identifies non‑conformities and derives corrective actions. They also initiate, implement and monitor quality improvement actions at suppliers, maintaining ongoing assessment of supplier quality and delivery. Continuous quality issues are analyzed and resolved collaboratively with suppliers, with teams organized for problem‑solving. The role works closely with order management, production and the quality department to address supplier quality questions, follows internal audit and supplier performance procedures, and may lead special projects or development initiatives such as APQP to achieve right‑first‑time delivery of samples, requiring thorough knowledge of PPAP.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 10‑15 years of experience in supplier quality management, supplier audits and development. Professional auditor training and knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, as well as experience with audit planning, reporting and corrective‑action tracking, are required. Candidates may be asked to complete online cognitive and behavioural assessments as part of the selection process.
