About the Role

Material Handlers move recyclable material throughout the facility, perform material grading, and evaluate items for their appropriate sale destination. Their role ensures efficient flow of materials and supports the company's recycling operations. The position involves operating various material‑handling equipment, loading and securing loads for transport, and using handheld tablets to record inventory data. Handlers also tag, label, and document materials while conducting regular audits to maintain accuracy. • Move material through the facility using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, handcarts, hoists, or cranes. • Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit. • Use PC tablets to record and receive information like part numbers, quantities, locations, and comments. • Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. • Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark information on cases, bales, or containers. • Document work performed accurately. • Conduct material audits.

What You Bring

The job requires strong motor coordination, frequent handling of objects over 50 lb, and physical activities such as pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting.
