About the Role
• Manage individual tasks throughout the construction process. • Transcribe meeting minutes and action items, driving each to closure. • Ensure project compliance with document controls and file specifications. • Administer project closeout specifications and turnover documentation. • Collaborate regularly with client project team and contractor operatives. • Support application for payment and progress reporting processes. • Process Requests for Information (log, record, report) for review and sign‑off. • Administer change orders (log, record, report) for review and sign‑off. • Coordinate meetings. • Administer project observation reports. • Transition close‑out documentation to operations. • Prepare agenda and documents for design engineering meetings, driving action items to close. • Assist client project managers in implementing project specifications. • Prioritize stakeholder input to meet scheduled timelines. • Assist project manager with monthly financial updates and forecasts. • Facilitate page‑turn reviews and capture comments with action items. • Work closely with Operations to coordinate work where applicable. • Maintain awareness of mission‑critical facility operations. • Support the project commissioning team. • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities as applicable.

What You Bring
Turner & Townsend is seeking an ambitious, meticulous, self‑starting Construction Project Design Engineer to support core project coordination for a client, reporting directly to the client’s construction project managers and working onsite full‑time, Monday through Friday. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering management, architecture, construction management or a related field (or equivalent experience), with 3–5 years of design project engineering experience on increasingly complex construction projects, preferably in industrial, defense, or facility construction, and strong knowledge of CSA and MEP trades. The role demands solid analytical skills, proficiency with MS Office and web‑based data platforms, and a preference for construction management experience; the candidate must be comfortable handling numbers, technology, and detailed documentation. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering management, architecture, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Prefer industrial and defense construction experience. • 3–5 years experience as a Design Project Engineer on increasingly complex construction projects. • Preferred facility construction experience. • Required experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) trades. • Strong preference for construction management background. • Proficient with numbers, technology, and web‑based data platforms; MS Office essential.
