About the Role
• Perform scheduled, preventative and corrective maintenance on refrigeration, air‑conditioning and HVAC systems. • Handle refrigerants in accordance with ARCTick licensing requirements. • Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with other trades and subcontractors to support operational delivery.

What You Bring
We are inviting applications to join our permanent workforce at Randwick Barracks as a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician. The role commences in February 2026, and we welcome candidates from all backgrounds, whether you bring Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. • Hold a Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. • Possess (or be eligible for) an ARCTick Refrigerant Handling licence (desirable). • Hold a NSW Refrigeration and Air Conditioning licence. • Have post‑trade experience in refrigeration, air‑conditioning and HVAC maintenance. • Demonstrate expertise in fault diagnosis and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems. • Hold a current open driver’s licence. • Be able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
