About the Role

• Expand roadway, highway, and municipal practice in the Charlotte market. • Lead complex engineering design tasks while handling marketing and client engagement. • Manage project design and delivery profitably, addressing design issues directly. • Provide vision, business planning, strategy, and set goals for the practice. • Build and maintain positive client relationships and ensure open communication with partners and team. • Grow and lead the roadway practice, mentoring staff and transitioning work to qualified personnel. • Write proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for upcoming projects.

What You Bring

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing roadway projects. • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). • Proven track record of winning and delivering work in local or surrounding areas. • Deep knowledge of full lifecycle of roadway projects and civil design of roads, urban freeways, and interchanges. • Established relationships with local agencies or municipalities. • Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably while leading teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
