About the Role

Kimley-Horn's Miami, Florida (FL) office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 3+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This is not a remote position. Candidates need at least 3+ years’ experience with a civil engineering design firm and a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET‑accredited program. An Engineer‑In‑Training or Engineering Intern certification is required, or the ability to obtain it within 12 months. Required skills include working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication, urgency, self‑initiative, detail‑orientation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Possess 3+ years experience in a civil engineering design firm and an ABET‑accredited B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering. • Hold or obtain Engineer‑In‑Training/Engineering Intern certification within 12 months. • Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong communication, urgency, and teamwork skills.
