About the Role
The Senior Program Manager will take total responsibility for the end‑to‑end delivery of a global capital‑works program, overseeing projects up to AUD 15 million that include base‑building services, fabric, and finishes upgrades across commercial and residential properties. The role demands a global mindset, cultural awareness, and strong communication to drive excellence across multiple locations simultaneously. Key duties include establishing and managing program budgets, creating detailed schedules with clear milestones, preparing PCG reports for senior stakeholders, and leading RFP processes to secure local project managers and vendors. The manager will also direct a global team, apply Australian best practices in asset management, HSE, and procurement, conduct value‑engineering reviews, and ensure contract administration complies with legal requirements while mentoring less‑experienced colleagues. • Own end‑to‑end delivery of global capital works programs up to AUD 15 million, covering commercial and residential properties. • Develop and manage program budgets, forecast expenditures, and ensure projects stay within financial targets. • Create detailed program schedules with clear milestones and produce PCG reports for senior stakeholder meetings. • Lead RFP processes, write scopes, and procure local project managers and vendors. • Direct a global team of project managers, applying Australian best practices in asset management, HSE, and procurement. • Conduct value engineering and buildability reviews to reduce risk and optimise outcomes. • Administer contracts with clients, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring legal compliance and protection of commercial interests. • Mentor and coach less‑experienced colleagues in all aspects of capital works project management. • Build and maintain client relationships, delivering innovative, sustainable property solutions. • Manage internal and external stakeholder communication remotely, handling conflicting priorities. • Lead team development, training programs, and regional succession planning.

What You Bring
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong multidisciplinary technical expertise in facilities management, strategic problem solving, and life‑cycle planning, coupled with a client‑focused approach that builds innovative, sustainable property solutions. They must also excel in relationship management, remote stakeholder communication, and leading teams through training, succession planning, and collaborative practices. Applicants must be Australian citizens holding an NV1 security clearance, with a relevant degree or equivalent experience—at least ten years in project or construction management, including seven years in design, construction, or project management. A proven track record of overseeing complex, multi‑discipline capital works is essential. • Demonstrate strong multidisciplinary technical expertise in facilities management and life‑cycle planning. • Hold Australian citizenship with NV1 Security Clearance and a relevant degree or equivalent experience (10+ years, including 7 years in design/construction/project management).
