About the Role

Key responsibilities include assisting with small to medium proposals, LOIs, and SOQs, creating proposal schedules and templates, developing compliance matrices, and contributing to the writing, editing, and formatting of resumes and past‑performance sections. The role also coordinates color‑review meetings, manages revisions based on review feedback, supports Go/No Go analysis, maintains CRM data, participates in internal debriefs, and follows company quality, legal, and contract approval procedures while performing self‑checks before submission. • Assist in developing small to medium proposals, LOIs, and SOQs, supporting pre‑RFP planning and win‑strategy development. • Create and manage proposal schedules, templates, and compliance matrices to ensure timely content production. • Contribute to writing, editing, and formatting resumes and past‑performance sections for proposals. • Coordinate and facilitate color‑review meetings (Pink/Red team) and implement revision feedback. • Support Go/No Go decisions and maintain CRM data related to pursuit activities. • Participate in internal debriefs and adhere to company quality, legal, and contract approval processes.

What You Bring

The company is seeking a part‑time casual Proposal Specialist to join the West Program Management Pursuit Team in Portland, OR. This hybrid role collaborates with the West Region business development and operations teams on pursuits, preparing formal and informal client solicitations such as EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, and pre‑qualification efforts. Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a solid understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing. Preferred qualifications include marketing experience, detailed knowledge of marketing best practices, strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign), Microsoft Office, collaborative tools like Teams and SharePoint, initiative to manage multiple projects, ability to produce accurate and compliant work, and experience using AI for content development. • Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with strong proposal writing and production skills. • Preferred experience in marketing, Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign), Microsoft Office, and collaborative platforms (Teams, SharePoint). • Demonstrated initiative to manage multiple projects, produce compliant work, and leverage AI for content development.
