About the Role
The Senior Quality Manager will integrate Mortenson’s quality framework into project planning and execution, directing quality control initiatives, managing quality events and non‑conformance processes, and ensuring issues are resolved in coordination with project leadership. • Lead planning, development, and implementation of the Quality Management Plan for all work divisions. • Establish and manage quality control initiatives, including the three‑Phase Inspection Process. • Review project plans for quality requirements before issuing construction drawings. • Manage quality events, corrective actions, punch‑list closeout, and Non‑Conformance Notices. • Resolve issues independently or with guidance from project leadership. • Coach, mentor, and assign work to Quality Managers, Engineers, and other personnel. • Deliver training on Mortenson’s Quality System, Kaizen events, and visual management.

What You Bring
Mortenson’s Federal Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to oversee the quality system on one or more major projects, guiding corrective and preventive actions throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a construction‑related discipline and bring at least seven years of design, engineering, or construction experience, including leadership of a project‑level quality system and familiarity with standards such as ISO 9000, Lean or Kaizen. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil/Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. • Minimum 7 years of experience in design, engineering, or construction, with proven leadership of a project quality system. • Familiarity with quality frameworks such as Malcolm Baldrige, ISO 9000, Lean, Kaizen, Army Corps of Engineers, or Mortenson’s system. • Experience in design/build projects and issue/inspection management. • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
