About the Role
The role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends based on customer demands, and daily submission of electronic timecards and shift production reports with accurate quantities and cost coding. • Enforce and abide by safety policies while completing satisfactory and quality work daily • Perform milling set‑up in accordance with AL‑DOT, County, City and Commercial specifications • Read plans and specifications (application rates, grades, slope, drainage, etc.) • Complete jobs under budget and on time by setting clear expectations and feedback to crew members • Manage all aspects of the operation including ordering materials, logistics, maintenance, and outside services • Coordinate with other foremen, plants, crews, subs, and vendors before the shift or project starts • Ensure daily maintenance and housekeeping, including pre‑trip inspections written up and submitted daily • Submit electronic timecards and shift production reports daily with accurate quantities and cost coding

What You Bring
• 2+ years of experience in paving and milling • Knowledge of local customers, materials, and specifications (strongly preferred) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proven self‑starter; ability to work under limited supervision • Ability to work well with team members or inspectors while managing stressful situations in changing environments • Proficient with GPS grade and slope control • Computer skills required • Driver’s license and safe driving record
