About the Role
Within a designated market, the Construction Account Manager identifies leads and proactively sells temporary waste removal to construction customers. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships and increasing revenue to meet monthly profitable growth targets. The manager meets regularly with prospective and existing clients to deliver presentations, follow up with decision makers, and sell all appropriate services. The manager retains existing customers, generates new leads, and secures temporary business across the market to exceed individual and team growth goals. Daily use of Salesforce tracks calls, meetings, and proposals, while collaboration with the operations team resolves service issues. Participation in trade shows and community events enhances company visibility. • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships to drive loyalty. • Identify and qualify new leads, managing prospects to secure temporary waste removal contracts. • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, follow up with key decision makers, and close sales. • Record all sales activities, calls, meetings, and proposals in Salesforce daily. • Generate permanent‑sale leads for handoff to appropriate sales representatives. • Review weekly performance and customer retention with the Sales Manager. • Partner with operations to resolve customer service issues. • Represent the company at trade shows, chamber of commerce events, and other community activities.

What You Bring
The position requires 2–4 years of relevant sales experience and a valid driver’s license. Experience in the waste or transportation industry is preferred.
