About the Role

The Maintenance Technician role is a hands‑on position that supports the apartment community by maintaining and repairing building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and mechanical equipment while delivering exceptional customer service in a team environment. • Perform HVAC repairs, cleaning, and component replacement. • Repair and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and faucets. • Repair and install carpentry items including doors, shelves, countertops, and locks. • Conduct drywall/plaster repairs and interior painting. • Handle electrical and appliance tasks like wiring, lighting, and switch replacement. • Maintain mechanical equipment such as chillers, belts, pumps, and fans. • Provide excellent customer service and uphold personal accountability.

What You Bring

Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in commercial or multi‑unit residential property management, a high school diploma or GED (which can be offset by 3–4 years of experience), and preferred certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing. A valid driver’s license may be required, and strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and personal accountability are essential. • Possess 1–2 years of experience in commercial or multi‑unit residential property maintenance. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; 3–4 years of experience may substitute for education. • Preferred certifications: HVAC, electrical, or plumbing licenses. • Maintain a valid driver’s license when required by property needs. • Demonstrate self‑motivation, teamwork, strong communication, and attention to detail. • Availability to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
