About the Role
The senior Dams/Reservoir Engineer, Designer, or Design Manager will contribute to the conceptual and detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, and service basins, while assessing existing structures and delivering safety reviews alongside multidisciplinary teams. The position also involves client liaison, managing projects of varying scale, and mentoring junior engineers, all within a collaborative and inclusive team culture. • Design water dams, retarding basins, and service basins from concept to detailed drawings. • Inspect, investigate, and assess conditions of existing dams, reviewing monitoring data. • Conduct safety reviews with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance. • Liaise with clients and manage multiple projects of varying scale. • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff. • Prepare design reports, drawings, and specifications with high quality. • Receive relocation and visa support for eligible candidates.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates possess experience in dam or reservoir engineering and design, backed by relevant tertiary qualifications and, preferably, CPEng registration. Demonstrated design capability—including preparation of reports, drawings, and specifications—and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. A positive attitude that views challenges as opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and growth is highly valued. • Apply dam/reservoir engineering experience and relevant tertiary qualifications. • Hold CPEng registration or equivalent professional accreditation. • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
