About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is tasked with safely operating a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The role also includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company's safety standards before each shift and adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations while on the road. Each day begins with a thorough pre‑operation inspection and ends with a post‑operation check, with any issues documented on vehicle condition reports. Drivers follow assigned route sheets, load and compact refuse using manual or automatic controls, and deliver waste to designated disposal sites while maintaining professional interactions with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. In addition to routine tasks, drivers monitor waste containers for violations, tag problem containers, and promptly clean any accidental spills in accordance with safety policies. They also keep the vehicle clean, record productivity and route information, and actively participate in the company's ReSOP safety program. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily vehicle condition reports. • Safely operate a collection truck along assigned routes, loading, compacting, and disposing waste. • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for compliance. • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards. • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness during trips. • Complete route, productivity, and other required reports. • Adhere to productivity standards, safety policies, and participate in the ReSOP program. • Access health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP). • Participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).

What You Bring
