Acts as interim Health & Wellness Director, overseeing nursing staff and resident care.

About the Role
Key responsibilities include coordinating and managing nursing and assisted‑living staff, recommending staffing levels, assigning daily tasks, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, conducting resident assessments, handling medication ordering and documentation, sharing RN on‑call coverage, coordinating ancillary services, providing competency training for care aides, acting as a liaison to families and healthcare agencies, delivering first aid, and performing other assigned duties. • Coordinate and manage nursing and assisted‑living staff delivering direct care. • Recommend staffing levels and participate in recruitment, selection, and orientation. • Assign daily tasks to ensure resident needs are met. • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. • Conduct resident assessments as needed. • Order, store, administer, document, and dispose of medications per regulations. • Share RN on‑call coverage with the Health & Wellness Director. • Coordinate ancillary support services for residents. • Provide competency training with return demonstrations for care aides. • Serve as liaison to families, healthcare agencies, emergency teams, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers. • Deliver first aid when required.

What You Bring
Qualifications require a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current NJ RN license in good standing, at least two years of supervisory experience in senior, assisted, long‑term, or skilled care, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new applications. Physical demands involve frequent standing, walking, sitting, fine and gross motor skills, and the ability to lift or carry up to 50 lb while using proper body mechanics. • Maintain an active NJ RN license in good standing. • Possess at least two years of supervisory experience in senior, assisted, or long‑term care. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software. • Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lb and using proper body mechanics.

Benefits
Reporting to the Health & Wellness Director, this salaried exempt role acts in the Director's absence and offers a salary range of $80,000 to $85,000 annually.
