About the Role
The opportunity involves supporting the Supply Chain Procurement team in daily activities and working closely with suppliers to expedite component deliveries for the Germany Service Centre. The role requires coordinating procurement processes and ensuring timely supply of critical parts. The successful candidate will oversee procurement workflows, create and transmit purchase orders, monitor inventory, and update procurement data in the company’s systems. They will also evaluate received goods, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with project management, technical, logistics, and finance teams to keep operations smooth. • Oversee procurement of goods and services following standard workflow. • Create accurate, timely purchase orders and transmit them to suppliers. • Expedite deliveries when required. • Monitor inventory levels and trigger reorders promptly. • Update procurement data (supplier, price, terms) in relevant systems. • Evaluate received goods against specifications. • Coordinate with project management and warehouse to ensure timely GRN. • Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure on‑time payments. • Maintain supplier relationships and address issues. • Collaborate with technical, logistics, finance, and other departments. • Proactively resolve conflicts and escalate to team lead or management as needed. • Adhere to supply chain processes, integrity guidelines, and IS security policy. • Act as a role model and ensure compliance with external and internal regulations.
What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree and hands‑on experience with the SAP MM module are required, along with knowledge of ERP systems and the procure‑to‑pay process. Proficiency in MS Office, excellent English communication skills, and basic German are advantageous; strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities are essential. • Possess a bachelor’s degree and hands‑on SAP MM experience. • Know ERP systems and procure‑to‑pay (P2P) processes. • Proficient with MS Office tools. • Excellent spoken and written English; basic German is a plus. • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet customer expectations.
