What You Bring
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced Department Manager in Philadelphia, PA to lead multiple GIS projects, train support staff, and generate regional project opportunities. The role demands strong leadership, profitability, and client management for the design team, overseeing financial performance, technical proposals, invoicing, budget monitoring, staff supervision, project scheduling, and guidance on assignments. Effective communication and collaboration with multi‑department staff and senior management are essential to support GIS tasks within budgets and deadlines. • MS in GIS or related field (BS acceptable); Professional GIS certification (GISP). • 10‑15+ years of GIS experience, including project management for PA & NJ government clients. • Proficient with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise; experience with Esri extensions, App Builder, and ArcGIS Developer. • Knowledge of Esri apps such as Field Maps, StoryMaps, Survey123, and Workforce. • Experience with GPS data collection using ArcGIS apps. • Understanding of regional utility regulations. • Strong English communication skills for written and verbal interactions.
