About the Role
As a Field Services Technician you will assist and support the field team in commissioning and after‑sales service, working independently while making informed decisions. Daily duties include checking in with the manager, completing required paperwork, tracking time via ADP, meeting clients, securing parts, documenting expenses and materials, and reporting warranty repairs. You will also respond promptly to office communications, assist other Silent Aire technicians on‑site, and provide training to junior technicians. • Scheduling and management support for field assignments. • Assist and support Field Services team members in commissioning and after‑sales service. • Check in with manager daily and after each workday in the field. • Complete all company‑provided forms, time‑clock entries (ADP) and submit paperwork sequentially. • Meet clients at start and end of each day, obtain signatures on required forms. • Secure parts and tools, track receipts and invoices with job numbers, and document excess materials. • Report warranty repairs to manager/supervisor and provide necessary information to plant. • Respond promptly to office emails and calls, and keep manager informed of status. • Assist other Silent Aire technicians on‑site as needed and train Field Technician I.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and be a registered apprentice in electrical or HVAC. Required skills include strong logistical knowledge of customer sites, familiarity with Silent Aire product lines, SOO documentation, CAREL/Distech program navigation, and VFD understanding. Good hygiene, adherence to company policies, and the ability to work on‑call and overtime are also essential. • Work independently, making informed decisions to complete tasks as instructed. • Valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED. • Registered apprentice in electrical or HVAC trades. • Strong logistical knowledge of customer onsite practices and ability to travel to local jobs. • Full knowledge of Silent Aire product line, SOO documentation, and ability to work on all Silent Aire equipment. • Proficiency with CAREL/Distech program deployment and navigation; understanding of VFDs. • Ability to work on‑call, overtime, maintain good hygiene and follow all company policies.
