About the Role

The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. This role supports the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions to complex problems, managing projects, and training both service and contract technicians. • Promote safety by following all safety procedures. • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems and related control components. • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, motor starters, sensors, and solenoids. • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures. • Mentor junior and contract technicians, providing training and support. • Maintain positive communication across the Operations facility. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and PLC programs. • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order management. • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely service delivery.

What You Bring

The position requires the ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift up to 50 lb of equipment. Workers must wear appropriate PPE, operate in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, and travel between departments, floors, and properties, covering 6 to 12 miles per day. • High school diploma or equivalent; 4+ years experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and blueprint reading. • 3+ years experience using CMMS and 2+ years with PLC programming. • Proven team‑lead experience training and mentoring technicians. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts. • Associate’s or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field (preferred). • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance (preferred).
