About the Role

Key duties involve preparing studies, reports, process calculations and drawings to support other disciplines, conducting root‑cause analyses of water‑treatment plants, supporting business development activities, and mentoring a team of engineers and scientists with potential future line‑management responsibilities. • Prepare studies, reports, process calculations and drawings to support multidisciplinary deliverables. • Conduct water‑treatment plant and process root‑cause analysis reviews. • Provide specialist support for business development, bids and fee proposals. • Mentor and develop engineers and scientists, with potential line‑management responsibilities. • Deliver outline, feasibility and detailed process‑engineering designs for UK/Ireland water projects using appropriate calculation tools.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, possess Chartered Engineer status, and have deep expertise in conventional and innovative water‑treatment technologies, along with a proven record of delivering process‑engineering designs and technical leadership in the UK/Ireland water sector. Desirable experience includes building junior teams, understanding sustainability needs and the ability to travel to project sites. • Hold a degree in Chemical Engineering (or related) and Chartered Engineer status (CEng). • Demonstrate deep knowledge of conventional and innovative water‑treatment technologies and low‑carbon solutions. • Exhibit strong technical report writing and client‑facing communication skills. • Desirable: experience building junior teams, understanding sustainability needs, and ability to travel to sites across Ireland and the UK.
