About the Role

The position involves integrating into a national water‑treatment team, preparing technical deliverables, and supporting process‑engineering analysis from concept through commissioning. You will balance multiple projects, coordinate with internal and external partners, and provide support to senior engineers while developing your consulting skills. • Join the national water‑treatment team and build relationships through proactive communication. • Produce technical deliverables such as reports, proposals, process schematics, specifications, and layout drawings. • Conduct process‑engineering analysis including technology selection, equipment sizing, modelling, mass balances, hydraulic assessments, and 3D layout development. • Support projects from concept and feasibility through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations. • Manage multiple concurrent projects, adapting to evolving schedules and priorities. • Coordinate with colleagues, vendors, clients and subcontractors as project experience grows. • Provide technical and project support to intermediate and senior engineers and engage in mentorship.

What You Bring

We are seeking a Junior Chemical Engineer for our Water Treatment team in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary or Edmonton. This early‑career role offers hands‑on exposure to industrial, municipal and mining water‑treatment projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and be eligible for EIT or P.Eng registration with a Canadian regulator. We value 0–2 years of relevant experience, strong communication abilities, organizational skills, and proficiency with engineering software; familiarity with process‑modelling tools and field experience are considered assets. • Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering (graduate studies a plus). • Eligible for registration as an EIT or P.Eng with EGBC/APEGA. • 0–2 years of relevant experience; co‑op or internship experience considered. • Strong written and verbal communication in English; French is an asset. • Highly organized, detail‑oriented with strong time‑management skills. • Proficiency with engineering software and commercial problem‑solving tools. • Experience or interest in proposal and business development activities. • Familiarity with process‑modelling tools (e.g., HYSYS/HYSIM, OLI, Metsim) is an asset. • Field experience and a valid driver’s license are advantageous.
