About the Role
The Shop Technician (Pump and Power) role supports customers by loading and unloading rental equipment, performing basic preventative maintenance, and making minor repairs to minimize downtime. The position is ideal for candidates who want to develop a clear career track, apply existing technical skills, and work alongside an incredible team. Key duties include safely handling equipment, conducting routine inspections, and addressing issues on generators, power distribution units, HVAC systems, and diesel‑driven pumps. What You Bring
Applicants should have 1–3 years of experience or familiarity with power, HVAC, compressor, and pump equipment, and possess basic knowledge of generators, electronics, hydraulics, and diesel systems. A strong aptitude for operational processes and the ability to read technical manuals are essential. The role requires physical abilities such as bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting 25 lb or more. Reasonable accommodations are provided to comply with applicable laws. • 1–3 years of experience or familiarity with Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment • Basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, HVAC, diesel pumps, electronics, and hydraulics • Physical ability to bend, squat, reach, and lift 25 lb or more, working indoors and outdoors • Open to veterans and candidates with transferable military MOS/AFSC/NEC codes
