About the Role

The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is tasked with prospecting and closing sales to new customers in order to achieve budgeted sales goals. This role develops and implements effective selling strategies that drive revenue growth while also managing existing business relationships to meet sales and price targets. The SAE handles cancellation requests, educates customers on contract details, and secures contract commitments during face‑to‑face interactions, ensuring all service escalations within the territory are resolved. Key duties include maintaining and expanding billable value in assigned accounts by selling new waste streams, services, and products. The SAE initiates B2B sales relationships, creates prospect development plans, and maintains a high‑quality sales pipeline. Retention activities focus on minimizing revenue loss, meeting call activity goals, and improving profitability through sound retention calls.
