About the Role

In this role you will support your team by securing safety with proper tools, PPE and equipment, conducting visual observations and safety checks during vegetation management, and assisting coworkers to meet project objectives. You will also be ready to join storm‑restoration efforts, operate vehicles and equipment safely, and participate in ongoing technical and leadership training. Employees must properly inspect and wear personal protective equipment, maintain company vehicles, equipment and hand tools, and understand the correct use of radios and PPE. The role also involves rigorous physical labor, the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces, and strict adherence to safety rules and company policies. • Secure personal and team safety using proper tools, PPE, and safety equipment. • Conduct visual observations and safety checks during vegetation management and clearing. • Assist coworkers to meet project objectives and support storm‑restoration efforts. • Operate vehicles and equipment in a professional and safe manner. • Participate in ongoing technical and leadership training. • Inspect and maintain PPE, company vehicles, equipment, and hand tools. • Follow safety rules, company policies, and directions; use radios correctly.

What You Bring

No prior experience is required, but candidates must be able to read and communicate effectively in English, hold a valid driver’s license (a Commercial Driver’s License is preferred), and be willing to travel on short notice. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and bilingual ability in Spanish is a plus. Physical requirements include lifting over 50 lb, working extended periods outdoors, and being able to work overtime when needed. The position demands regular communication, standing, walking, handling tools, and reaching, as well as frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 lb. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment. Team members must be able to work in loud, dusty, or inclement outdoor conditions. Key competencies include being team‑oriented, self‑motivated, punctual, ethical, honest, trustworthy, and having excellent communication skills with a strong customer‑service focus. • Hold a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred; able to travel on short notice. • Communicate effectively in English; bilingual (Spanish) a plus. • Lift over 50 lb and work extended periods outdoors, including inclement weather. • Work at heights or in confined spaces when required. • Demonstrate team‑oriented, self‑motivated, punctual, and ethical behavior.
