About the Role
• Serve as technical expert in structural engineering for complex projects. • Perform dynamic, non-linear, and deep foundation analyses. • Utilize ETABS, SAFE, Perform 3D, RAM Structural System, and Ensoft software. • Plan and develop project designs and activities. • Supervise medium to large teams of professionals and technicians. • Act as Project Manager on larger projects when needed.

What You Bring
Preferred Qualifications: A master's degree in Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis. Over 10 years of OSHPD/HCAI experience. Required Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, at least 10 years of structural engineering experience in building design, a professional engineering license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE. Experience with design calculations and layouts, ability to design and detail steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures, knowledge of gravity and lateral analysis, prior consulting firm experience, and a commitment to the employee‑owned culture are also required. • Hold a master’s degree in Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis. • Possess 10+ years of OSHPD/HCAI experience. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and a professional PE license. • Have at least 10 years of structural engineering experience in building design. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, and related analytical tools. • Experienced in design calculations, layouts, and detailing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures. • Understand gravity and lateral analysis for building structures. • Prior experience in an architectural/engineering consulting firm. • Demonstrate commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned and inclusive culture.
