About the Role

The role involves assembling and packaging parts in line with SBD’s quality standards and packaging guidelines. Employees must meet production schedules by delivering the required quantity and maintaining consistent quality. Team members read and follow all standard work, safety standards, and company policies outlined in the handbook and General Plant Rules. They verify that supplied parts match the shop pack specifications, including any Special Instructions, and ensure the finished product meets quality standards before and after packaging. Daily responsibilities include hour‑by‑hour production tracking, 5S housekeeping, completing paperwork, and working overtime when necessary. Workers operate both independently at bench stations and collaboratively on machine‑based teams, handling setup instructions and packaging, labeling, and boxing parts for the entire customer base. • Assemble and package parts according to quality standards and packaging guidelines. • Verify parts match part numbers and shop pack instructions, including Special Instructions. • Conduct hour‑by‑hour production tracking and daily 5S housekeeping tasks. • Follow all safety standards, company policies, and General Plant Rules. • Work both independently at bench stations and collaboratively on machine‑based teams. • Adjust schedules and work centers based on production needs. • Use required tools and equipment; lift up to 40 lb repeatedly. • Apply basic math and PC skills; read and follow written and verbal instructions. • Work overtime as needed and rotate between the main facility and off‑site warehouse.
