About the Role
The role manufactures customized products that meet customer specifications and prepares completed orders for shipment. Completed orders are then packaged and readied for delivery. The employee works under close supervision, follows clearly prescribed processes, seeks guidance on non‑routine issues, and collaborates with senior coworkers for detailed checks and reviews. • Examine customer specifications using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine product characteristics, materials, and machine setup. • Fabricate workpieces according to work order specifications. • Retrieve correct materials and perform various fabrication duties. • Inspect workpieces visually, by touch, or with tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure standards are met. • Package finished products for shipping. • Install protective devices such as bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage during transport. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping it free of trash and ensuring products are correctly placed. • Follow company safety policies and procedures.

What You Bring
The work environment is generally comfortable but includes exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. The job requires intermittent physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting heavy or awkward materials, and involves less than 10% overnight travel. An HS Diploma or GED is strongly preferred, with 0‑2 years of relevant experience required. Experience with fabrication shop equipment and metalworking is preferred. These skills enhance productivity and product quality.
