About the Role
The role involves testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating electrical distribution and control systems, including performing power‑quality measurements and protective‑relay analysis. Candidates must understand three‑phase power systems and low, medium, and high‑voltage equipment, practice strict electrical‑safety measures, and effectively explain technical problems and solutions to the team. Work hours are variable and may include nights, weekends, and travel across the district, state, region, or country to meet customer requirements. What You Bring
Candidates must hold at least a High School Diploma or GED, with many positions preferring a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. A minimum of two years’ experience in the electrical or mechanical industry and at least one year of field service work evaluating and servicing electrical distribution or control systems is required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship and, unless they are active‑duty military, must reside in the Antonio, TX area. A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check are also mandatory. • Obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card • Demonstrate proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment assembly • Travel extensively and drive extended distances as needed • Pass periodic background and drug screenings
