About the Role
Key duties include leading projects that streamline contract workflows and templates, drafting, negotiating, and overseeing a high volume of commercial real estate agreements, and identifying and mitigating risks in commission, agency, and engagement letters. The manager will monitor legal and policy changes, update attorneys and contract templates for compliance, and collaborate with team attorneys to share best practices and document negotiation strategies. Additional responsibilities involve advising internal clients, supporting the creation of training materials, and integrating AI tools into daily contracting work. • Lead projects to improve contract workflows, templates, and handling efficiency. • Draft, negotiate, and manage high‑volume commercial real estate contracts. • Identify and mitigate risks in commission, agency, and engagement agreements. • Monitor legal, regulatory, and policy changes and update contracts and templates for compliance. • Collaborate with attorneys to share best practices and document negotiation strategies. • Advise internal clients on contract policies and terms. • Support development and updates of training materials for contracting teams. • Integrate AI tools into daily contracting processes.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in business, law, real estate or a related field and brings at least seven years of independent experience negotiating complex commercial contracts. Required skills include strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities, innovative thinking, change‑management leadership, and the capacity to multitask across competing priorities. Proficiency in contract lifecycle management, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and a willingness to become fluent in AI applications are also essential. • Minimum 7 years of experience negotiating complex commercial contracts. • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, real estate or related field preferred. • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. • Innovative thinker capable of driving change management in contracting. • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively. • Expertise in contract lifecycle management and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Benefits
Cushman & Wakefield offers a competitive salary range of $89,250 to $105,000, subject to factors such as location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements, and will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage.
