About the Role
Under general direction, you will perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and replacement of HVAC mechanical equipment and building control systems. You will also ensure all work complies with state, local and federal legal requirements and uphold the highest ethical standards. You will assist branch leadership by coaching and mentoring technicians to deliver customer satisfaction and follow operational processes, while providing Level 1 technical support and aiding the technical development of others. Additionally, you will complete all required project and service documentation and act as a trusted advisor, delivering solutions and outcomes at the time of service. Adhering to Johnson Controls and customer safety standards, you will provide safety leadership and instruction to technicians and subcontractors on work sites. Recognized as a leader by peers, you will serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, offering on‑the‑job training and troubleshooting expertise. You will assist management in ensuring field operational disciplines are followed, regularly contribute to training needs, develop quotes and estimates for L&M work, and identify material requirements. You will also coordinate scheduling of skilled personnel and communicate with customers upon arrival and departure, keeping them informed of service details and recommending system enhancements or repairs. Manage assigned work to ensure professional execution, on‑time delivery and high customer satisfaction, providing consultant‑level services for building system repairs and upgrades. Benefits
The position offers an hourly pay range of $56 to $59, determined by the collective bargaining agreement, with benefits provided through a local labor union.
