About the Role
The Underground Utility (UGE) Foreman leads multiple crews in the construction and maintenance of underground power lines, handling tasks such as blueprint interpretation, crew scheduling, equipment coordination, and storm‑crew management while prioritizing production efficiency and crew safety. • Oversee project quality and timeliness for underground utility work. • Enforce safety standards and conduct daily toolbox talks and weekly inspections. • Coordinate crew activities for digging, product placement, and equipment operation. • Perform switching, splicing, terminating, and proper phasing of underground power lines. • Install, connect, disconnect, and relocate transformers, regulators, switches, and capacitor banks. • Transport and operate equipment to and from job sites as needed. • Train new hires and apprentices on underground utility trade skills. • Secure required materials, permits, and licenses for each job. • Maintain communication with utility companies at each project site.

What You Bring
• Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years heavy‑equipment/construction experience, 2 years supervisory experience, Class A CDL. • Preferred qualifications: 6+ years experience with extensive supervision and training of skilled labor. • Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lb, bend, squat, climb, and work in extreme weather conditions. • Vision clarity at 20 ft, hand‑eye coordination, and color‑identification capability.
