About the Role
• Perform structural design of bridge components. • Conduct bridge assessment and condition inspections. • Execute finite element analysis for structural evaluation. • Carry out structural inspections and renewal feasibility studies. • Supervise on‑site works and monitor construction activities. • Manage scheme resources, tasks and schedules. • Contribute to design from inception through completion.

What You Bring
Our Bridges business line is expanding after recent high‑profile wins, and we seek ambitious civil and structural engineering graduates with computational, mathematical and design skills. Graduates will work on projects from concept design to implementation for local, national and international clients, focusing on delivering results while enjoying technically challenging work. The Bridges team offers opportunities across the UK, Europe, the United States and the Middle East, including design of new projects, assessment and maintenance of the UK bridge network, and renewal of existing structures. Success requires excellence, agility, perseverance, communication, forward‑thinking and global awareness to maintain and enhance client and stakeholder relationships. • BEng (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 or higher. • MEng or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred). • Experience or coursework in structural/bridge engineering. • Strong technical understanding of civil and structural principles. • Demonstrated interest in bridge engineering and commitment to chartership (ICE or IStructE). • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders. • Ability to prioritize, work both independently and collaboratively.
