About the Role
The Quality Analyst is tasked with implementing and maintaining comprehensive quality systems to ensure product and process compliance within the manufacturing of electronics process control instruments and surge protection devices for harsh, hazardous environments. This role safeguards high quality standards, drives continuous improvement, and supports customer satisfaction and regulatory adherence. Key duties include developing and executing quality assurance strategies, leading quality planning for new product introductions and engineering changes, and overseeing inspection and testing of electronic components, PCBs, and final assemblies. The analyst ensures compliance with technical specifications, industry standards such as IEC, IPC, FM, CSA, UL, and ATEX, and leads root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, as well as the maintenance of the QMS aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 80079-34. Responsibilities also cover audit preparation, metric analysis, generation of quality dashboards, application of SPC, FMEA, and control charts, and collaboration with R&D, production, procurement, and customer service to resolve quality issues. • Implement and maintain QMS to meet ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 80079-34 requirements. • Lead quality planning for new product introductions and engineering changes. • Oversee inspection and testing of electronic components, PCBs, and final assemblies. • Ensure compliance with IEC, IPC, FM, CSA, UL, ATEX, RoHS, CE, and other certifications. • Conduct root cause analysis and manage CAPA initiatives. • Prepare for and support internal, customer, and third‑party audits. • Analyze quality metrics, generate reports, and create management dashboards. • Apply SPC, FMEA, control charts, and other statistical tools for process optimization. • Collaborate with R&D, production, procurement, and customer service to resolve quality issues. • Participate in design reviews, providing feedback on manufacturability and reliability. • Lead cross‑functional improvement teams and coordinate customer complaint resolution.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Communications, or Instrumentation Engineering and possess at least ten years of quality assurance experience in electrical or electronics manufacturing, with supervisory experience preferred. Expertise required includes reading engineering drawings, employing Six Sigma, 8D, and statistical tools, deep knowledge of certification schemes (ISO 9001, ATEX, IECEx, FM, CSA, UL), leading audits and PFMEAs, and understanding new product development processes. Additional qualifications such as ASQ CQE/CQA/CQMgr certification, Six Sigma Green Belt training, SAP‑QM proficiency, and strong MS Office skills are advantageous. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related engineering field. • Minimum 10 years of QA experience in electrical/electronics manufacturing; supervisory experience preferred. • Proficiency in Six Sigma, 8D, PFMEA, and statistical problem‑solving methods. • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Auditor, or Manager and Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. • Familiarity with SAP‑QM and strong MS Office skills.
