Job Highlights
About the Role
• Review project plans, specifications, drawings, and schedules to understand scope and requirements. • Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor services, and related expenses. • Utilize McCormick and Bluebeam software to generate precise and consistent estimates. • Incorporate market conditions, labor rates, and material costs into pricing calculations. • Collaborate with the bid team to develop compliant proposals and present estimation rationales. • Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing. • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical information. • Generate regular reports on cost tracking and estimating accuracy. • Coordinate with Engineering and Project Management teams to clarify ambiguities and gather necessary data. • Share insights and best practices to improve overall estimating capabilities.

What You Bring
Candidates who thrive in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven settings and possess strong analytical and communication skills are encouraged to apply. • Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical estimating. • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field preferred. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. • Experienced with industry‑standard estimating tools such as McCormack and Bluebeam. • Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, materials, and methodologies. • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and attention‑to‑detail skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. • Familiarity with local construction market and regulations is advantageous.
