About the Role

Essential job functions include loading, piping, and aligning compressors, running all test stands, performing valve assembly of hand‑wheel units, and recording compressor data according to test requirements. The role also involves cleaning, wire‑brushing, or scraping parts as needed and following oral or written instructions to properly mask nameplates, serial plates, control panels, and other components. Marginal functions consist of general housekeeping duties, maintaining and inventorying equipment and storage areas, and performing other tasks as required to support production. • Load, pipe, and align compressors for proper run‑in. • Operate test stands and assemble valve hand‑wheel units. • Record and collect compressor test data according to specifications. • Clean and prepare parts using wire brushes or scrapers. • Follow oral and written instructions to mask nameplates and control panels. • Perform housekeeping and maintain equipment inventory. • Use measurement and testing tools such as leak detectors, volt‑ohm meters, and power analyzers.
