About the Role
The Supervisor, Production Training oversees the development and delivery of training programs for production team members to ensure operational proficiency and compliance with safety standards. This role works closely with production leadership to identify training needs, implement effective programs, and monitor performance outcomes. The position contributes to workforce readiness and continuous improvement by fostering a culture of learning and skill development. • Design and implement training programs to ensure employee proficiency in procedures and safety protocols. • Conduct onboarding and ongoing training sessions using various instructional methods. • Update training materials to reflect process, equipment, and best‑practice changes. • Collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps and develop training strategies. • Track and maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, and completions. • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance assessments, recommending improvements. • Provide coaching and support to reinforce learning and ensure compliance with standards. • Prepare reports on training outcomes and team performance for management review. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to training and safety. • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.
