About the Role

The Director of Research Training is responsible for the end‑to‑end learning strategy of the Research organization. This role designs, governs, and measures curriculum across onboarding, the Nest program, and ongoing education, ensuring new hires are onboarded, managers are equipped to coach, and experienced researchers continue to develop. Collaboration with Corporate L&D, Product, IT, Research Operations, and senior leadership aligns training with evolving tools and business objectives. Key duties include building a training strategy linked to OKRs, establishing curriculum governance, managing a multi‑month training calendar, and delivering the Week 1 foundations and Nest onboarding schedule. The director also creates continuous‑education tracks, issues digital badges, drives change‑management initiatives using Prosci/ADKAR, and develops analytics dashboards to quantify training impact. People leadership responsibilities cover hiring and coaching training managers, implementation specialists, and nest trainers, while ensuring compliance with HR and legal standards. • Develop and maintain a research training strategy aligned with corporate OKRs. • Establish governance for curriculum standards, instructor guides, and train‑the‑trainer readiness. • Manage the multi‑month training calendar and capacity for Richmond training rooms. • Lead Week 1 foundations and Weeks 2‑3 role‑specific classroom onboarding, meeting the 80 % assessment threshold. • Direct the Nest program, including coach assignment, desk setup, portfolio assignments, and audit certification. • Standardize assessment rubrics and enforce performance gates for progression. • Design continuous‑education tracks and advanced certifications, issuing digital badges via Workday. • Apply Prosci/ADKAR and CLARC frameworks to embed change‑management across training initiatives. • Coordinate release‑aligned content, job aids, and train‑the‑trainer sessions ahead of product deployments. • Build dashboards to track pass rates, audit outcomes, and identify curriculum gaps. • Recruit, onboard, and coach Training Managers, Implementation Specialists, and Nest Trainers. • Curate learning resources in Workday Learning, Confluence/Wiki, and Cynergy Knowledge Center. • Ensure training compliance with HR/legal guidance and maintain documentation integrity.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and bring at least seven years of learning‑and‑development experience, with four years of leading large training programs. Proven success in building end‑to‑end curricula, improving operational KPIs, and managing change is required, along with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills. Preferred credentials include experience with digital badge certification, a background in commercial real‑estate, and a track record of supporting international training programs. • Required: 7 + years L&D experience, 4 + years leading training teams, bachelor’s degree; preferred: digital badge design, commercial real‑estate background, international training experience.
