CDL Truck Driver

Job Highlights
About the Role
The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. The role involves maintaining the vehicle, communicating with operations and dispatch, and following scheduled routes and procedures. • Operate heavy‑duty truck safely according to OSHA, DOT, and company policies. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and report any issues. • Immediately report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Follow route assignments, dump containers, clean customer sites, and position containers properly. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage and finalize all documentation at route end. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Maintain an acceptable driving record.

What You Bring
No formal education or prior experience is required, but a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License, an acceptable driving record, and a minimum age of 18 are mandatory. Candidates must also pass DOT drug screening, a physical exam, and background checks. The position may require air travel or access to federal property, so candidates must possess a REAL ID or an acceptable TSA‑approved alternative. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and be at least 18 years old. • Successfully complete DOT drug screen, physical exam, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review.
