About the Role

Our Mechanical Project Managers supervise, direct, and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on our projects, collaborating with mechanical trades superintendents, subcontractors, and RQ team members. They ensure quality work that meets government specifications, stays within budget and schedule, and supports RQ's mission from conceptual design through completion. • Lead mechanical projects for an ambulatory care center and dental clinic • Supervise, direct, and coordinate all mechanical construction activities • Collaborate with trades superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams • Ensure compliance with government requirements, budget, and schedule • Provide onsite presence in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (mobilization summer 2026)

What You Bring

A four‑year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred, while a high school diploma or GED is the minimum requirement. Courses in project management, construction management, mechanical trade school, BIM, and CADD are also preferred. Applicants must have five or more years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager overseeing projects of at least $5 million in the commercial or government sector. Experience in government, military, large commercial, or design‑build construction is preferred. A demonstrated track record managing projects in medical centers, dental facilities, or other healthcare environments is advantageous. Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Primavera P6 is preferred, with training available. Familiarity with BIM software is also preferred, with training provided if needed. Candidates must provide proof of identity and U.S. work authorization at hire and must pass a drug screening, commercial criminal background check, and a Department of Defense background check for access to the military base. • Required: valid passport, relocation, and extensive background screening • Minimum education: high school diploma/GED; preferred: BS in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management • Required experience: 5+ years as Mechanical Project Manager on $5M+ projects; preferred in government, military, or design‑build sectors • Preferred experience in medical or dental facility construction • Preferred software skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, Primavera P6, BIM (training provided) • Must provide identity proof, U.S. work authorization, and pass drug and background checks

Benefits
