About the Role
Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with front, side, or rear lift‑attachments to transport waste or recyclable containers that can exceed 1,000 pounds, navigating high‑traffic roadways, alleys, driveways, and lots while performing skilled backing maneuvers. Roles include commercial, residential, and roll‑off drivers, each responsible for picking up, loading, and delivering materials to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities. • Operate vehicles in compliance with WM safety rules, OSHA, DOT regulations, and all applicable laws. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and document them using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR). • Immediately report unsafe situations or service issues to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend and participate in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and identify best practices. • Notify the Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. • Report service interruptions such as closed streets, heavy receptacles, or safety hazards to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Communicate customer requests to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Dump all receptacles completely and leave each customer location clean and free of debris. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation, and check out as required. • Perform all scheduled duties and assist other drivers as needed to meet customer needs.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a Class A or Class B CDL with air‑brake endorsement, at least one year of CDL‑qualified driving experience (or equivalent military driving within the past seven years), a minimum age of 18, and legal eligibility to work in the country. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

The position offers a pay rate of $24.00 per hour and is a full‑time role with a Monday‑Friday schedule, starting at 6:00 AM each day.
