About the Role

Apprentices will work alongside experienced mechanics to support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy diesel equipment and mobile machinery. The position emphasizes learning to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, using tools safely, and keeping accurate maintenance records. • Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy diesel equipment and mobile machinery. • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues under guidance of experienced mechanics. • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety. • Safely use tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop systems following company procedures. • Maintain accurate maintenance records and keep the work area organized. • Work in environments with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and high noise levels.
