About the Role

In this position you will cover whole‑engine facilities, supporting the Test Bed Facility and Test Vehicle, primarily on Trent engines but also on legacy fleet engines and technology demonstrators. MCTs provide first‑line support for both reactive and proactive technical operations, handling fault diagnosis, smart fixes and escalation of complex issues, while maintaining calibration equipment and driving effective containment actions. • Conduct fault‑finding investigations on measurement and control systems, implement containment actions and resolve root causes. • Calibrate and coordinate test facility measurement and conditioning equipment. • Maintain measurement and control systems infrastructure. • Manufacture looms and electrical slave equipment. • Identify and implement improvements to operational efficiency. • Prioritise personal workload to meet customer expectations and achieve realistic targets. • Ensure continuity of work across shifts and communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has completed an apprenticeship in electrical or manufacturing engineering, possesses strong knowledge of test facilities, electrical fault finding and measurement‑control systems, and can deliver under pressure to tight and changing project deadlines. Self‑motivation, enthusiasm and a consistent high standard of work are essential.
