About the Role
The Mobile Engineer is responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment across assigned facilities, ensuring efficient performance, energy efficiency, and minimal downtime. The role requires technical expertise across multiple trades to complete daily and weekly assignments. Daily duties include performing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, using CMMS tools such as Corrigo, submitting P‑card receipts, and updating work order status in real time. The engineer must also conduct facility inspections, report conditions affecting occupancy, and be available for call‑in work. • Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment. • Perform preventive maintenance and repair work orders using CMMS (Corrigo) and update statuses in real time. • Conduct facility inspections, report conditions affecting client occupancy, and handle call‑in work as needed. • Submit daily P‑card receipts and maintain accurate equipment records.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a valid state driver’s license, universal CFC recovery certification (or obtaining within 90 days), and at least four years of technical experience in building engineering with strong HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment background. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and be located on‑site in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Preferred qualifications are experience with CMMS/work‑order systems, proficiency in Word and Excel, and two years of documented apprenticeship or trades school in electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC. The position does not provide visa sponsorship. • Required: valid state driver’s license, universal CFC recovery certification, ≥4 years building engineering experience. • Preferred: CMMS experience, proficiency in Word/Excel, 2 years apprenticeship or trades school in related fields. • Location: on‑site in Sault Ste. Marie, MI; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
