Job Highlights
About the Role
• Interviews applicants for posted and future employment opportunities. • Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals to effectively fill positions. • Assists with providing guidance and interpretation to hiring managers with regards to Human Resources policies, procedures, practices, and initiatives. • Processes candidates, as appropriate, after interviewing. Completes new hire paperwork, as needed. • Conducts presentations at high schools and technical schools. Establishes and maintains relationships with area schools. Also, attends various recruiting events. • Actively participates in professional and trade related organizations. • Screens and refers applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations when appropriate. • Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs. Attends weekly staffing meetings.
