About the Role

Interns will support technical staff on daily projects by reviewing drawings, collaborating with engineers, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, observing construction sites, preparing reports and analyses, and maintaining project files. The program also offers networking, communication skill development, and interaction with fellow interns. • Assist technical staff on daily project tasks. • Review and interpret project drawings and plans. • Collaborate with engineers to develop plans. • Operate AutoCAD and Civil 3D under supervision. • Observe construction sites and assess contractor work. • Prepare reports documenting project activities. • Analyze collected data and generate findings. • Organize and maintain project files and records. • Participation in networking events, Career Exploration Series, and mentorship.

What You Bring

We are seeking highly‑motivated students to join our Municipal Discipline in our Bryan, TX office for the Summer 2026 internship. Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, have reliable transportation to the Bryan office, and possess a basic understanding of AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Excellent written and verbal communication, strong problem‑solving abilities, high‑pace work‑environment readiness, proficiency in MS Office, and fluency in English are required. • Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or related discipline. • Reliable transportation to the Bryan, TX office. • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D (preferred). • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Solid problem‑solving abilities. • Ability to thrive in a high‑pace environment. • Proficiency with MS Office and general computer literacy. • Fluency in English for written and verbal communication. • Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, and architectural projects. • High conversion rate to full‑time offers (over 50 % of interns).
