About the Role

The Sr. Project Manager is accountable for all phases of design‑build/engineer‑procure‑construct projects, including prime contract administration and oversight of engineering, design, procurement, scheduling, and construction teams. This role supervises field operations, audits subcontractor work for contract compliance, and may require temporary on‑site management of project duties. The Sr. PM also ensures effective communication with customers and resolves potential disputes. • Manage integrated Design‑Build/EPC teams throughout project lifecycle. • Oversee engineering design, procurement, scheduling, and construction activities. • Administer prime contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. • Coordinate with customers to maintain communication and satisfaction. • Resolve disputes and handle Requests for Information. • Perform value engineering and constructability reviews. • Develop procurement status reports and oversee subcontractor scope, pricing, and schedules. • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and submittals. • Create and monitor project schedules, schedules of values, and progress payment processes. • Prepare monthly progress, budget, and schedule reports. • Lead project close‑out, warranty administration, and post‑construction cost reviews. • Train and mentor junior staff and project managers.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience, and bring at least ten years of construction project management experience, preferably in DB/EPC power‑delivery projects. A deep understanding of engineering, design, construction methods, contract administration, budgeting, safety, and quality assurance is required, along with strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. Proficiency with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools and Microsoft Office is expected. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). • 10+ years of construction project management experience, preferably DB/EPC in power delivery. • Extensive knowledge of transmission, distribution, and substation materials, methods, and equipment. • Proficiency in engineering, estimating, scheduling, bidding, contract administration, budgeting, safety, and quality assurance. • Strong leadership, problem‑solving, team‑building, and communication skills. • Experience with project management software (Primavera P6 preferred) and Microsoft Office. • Travel up to 50% of time as project needs require.
