About the Role
Cummings is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead a team of service electricians. The role involves overseeing contractors, vendors, suppliers and employees, ensuring consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables across multiple projects. The manager will also promote health, safety, and environmental stewardship while supporting senior management in decision-making. The Senior Account Manager will direct up to 20 electricians, coordinate project planning, and monitor staff performance to meet productivity targets. They will foster teamwork, motivate employees, and ensure that all work aligns with organizational goals and resource priorities. • Lead a team of up to 20 electricians and manage contractors, vendors, and suppliers. • Coordinate and plan electrical construction projects to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and timely results. • Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards. • Provide decision-support to senior management. • Manage installation projects for high‑profile equipment. • Monitor staff performance, motivate teams, and achieve productivity targets. • Apply safety regulations, identify hazards, and promote a hazard‑free environment. • Set clear organizational goals and align departmental resources.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least five years of progressive experience in electrical construction, a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or prior work as a licensed electrician/supervisor. Proficiency with electrical power systems such as UPS, switchgear, generators and PDUs, strong communication skills, and computer literacy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project) are required. The position demands specific vision capabilities and the flexibility to work long or variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Independent judgment within the scope of the role is essential. • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in electrical construction. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or licensed electrician/supervisor. • Proficient with electrical power systems (UPS, switchgear, generators, PDUs). • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong oral/written communication. • Utilize Microsoft Suite, MS Project, and other computer tools. • Demonstrate high accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. • Meet vision requirements (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception). • Adapt to long hours, variable schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends.
